If you’re an absolute beginner and have never Social Skydived before, I have the perfect program for you. In fact, no matter who you are, now matter how little or how much social confidence you already have, if you are new to Social Skydiving, I want you to start here.

Do not skip this step!

These challenges are easy enough that anyone can do them, no matter what level. And completing them will make you feel stoked, give you confidence, and give you momentum to continue taking action in the wonderful world of Social Skydiving.

It’s a super simple program. Just pick one and do of any of the challenges below.

  • Give a compliment to a stranger.
  • Ask for directions to somewhere (Starbucks, the train station, the supermarket, anywhere)
  • Say hello to a stranger.
  • Start a conversation with a stranger.
  • Shake someone’s hand.
  • High-five someone.
  • Discuss weather with someone.
  • Ask a stranger’s name.
  • Introduce yourself: “Hello, my name is _______. Nice to meet you.”
  • Make eye contact with a stranger (optional: if your feeling bold, smile!).

All you need to do is just one, and you are done with the beginner program! Although feel free do do more if you are feeling super amped 😉

These challenges vary in intensity a bit, so you have some choice. If you see yourself as already fairly confident, maybe asking a stranger’s name, or starting up a conversation might be more suited to you, as they are probably a bit more difficult than just saying hello or asking for directions.

That being said, don’t overthink it! ANY one is fine. These starter challenges are designed to get you started, which is the most important step. After you first take action, THEN you can start thinking about designing a Social Skydiving program for yourself with more difficult challenges.

When you’ve finished any one of these challenges, congratulations! You have taken the first step into becoming a more social, confident, and uninhibited person. Taking that first step puts you ahead of most people.

Now you are ready to move on to creating your first personal program for Social Skydiving based on your goals and needs.

That’ll be in a separate article. For now, enjoy your first jump.
